From January to September, 151 of the 170 national e-commerce demonstration bases established live streaming bases.

The national live streaming e-commerce sales reached 1.98 trillion yuan, an increase of 60.6%, accounting for 18.3% of online retail sales. Live streaming e-commerce drove the growth rate of online retail by 7.7 percentage points.

The popularity of live streaming e-commerce has also promoted entrepreneurship and employment. The number of active e-commerce anchors reached 3.374 million, an increase of 164.3%.

However, in April this year, a media report said that the head of a live broadcast supply chain company in Hangzhou, Zhejiang said: "In the past, it was normal for many anchors to earn 10 to 20 million yuan a year. Now it is also normal to earn 1 to 2 million yuan a year."

The person in charge said that in the past, like when a celebrity appeared, some placement fees were charged when promoting products.

But now many anchors basically don’t charge any money and cooperate based on pure commissions. This situation is actually quite reasonable.
