[Source] Medicinal material source: the whole herb of Pteris integrinus, a plant of the Pteridaceae family.

[Original form] Terrestrial fern, plant height 40-150cm. The rhizome is short, woody, black, and covered with dark brown diamond-shaped scales at the top. Leaves are clustered, monomorphic, thick papery, light brown when dry; petioles are straw-colored, glabrous, 60-90cm long, cylindrical, slightly enlarged at the base, with narrow grooves on the surface; leaf blades are ovate or ovate-oblong, 18-80cm long, 15-30cm wide, odd-pinnate; pinnae are 6-13 pairs, linear-lanceolate, about 20cm long, opposite or nearly opposite, ascending obliquely, the upper spore pinnae are 1-1.5cm wide, the lower nutrient pinnae are 2-2.6cm wide, entire, with cartilaginous edges; leaf veins are obvious, and the veinlets are bifurcated. The sori are narrowly linear, attached to the upper part of the margin of the pinnae, with the base and tip of the pinnae fertile below; the sori cap is linear and grayish white.
