It grows in the jungles on the roadsides of hillsides at an altitude of 700-1800m. Distributed in Shaanxi, Gansu, Fujian, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan. 2. Yellow-haired tofu-wood. The main difference between this species and the fox-smelling wood is that the young branches, petioles and backs of leaves are densely covered with yellow, flat and long soft hairs. The cymes are arranged in umbels; the corolla is green-white. It grows in the shade of evergreen broad-leaved forests or roadside shrubs at an altitude of 500-1200m.
