The cold air continues to move eastward and southward

Affects the area north of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River

It is predicted that in the next three days, most areas north of the Yangtze River will experience strong winds and cooling weather, and there will be significant snowfall in northeastern Inner Mongolia, Northeast China, and northern and southwestern Xinjiang.

From the 2nd to the 5th, there will be light to moderate rain in the southeastern part of the Northwest region, the eastern part of the Southwest region, the southern part of the Huanghuai region and the areas south of it, and there will be sleet or snow in parts of southern Shaanxi, southeastern Gansu, western Henan, northwestern Hubei and other places.

Temperatures in Northeast China dropped by 12℃ to 16℃

On the afternoon of December 1, the temperature in northeastern Inner Mongolia and northern Heilongjiang has dropped by more than 10℃. Today (December 2), the temperature in Northeast China, central and eastern North China, northern Huanghuai and other places will drop by 4℃ to 8℃, and some areas in central and southeastern Heilongjiang, eastern Jilin, northeastern Liaoning and other places will drop sharply, with a drop of 12℃ to 16℃ ; the above-mentioned areas will be accompanied by winds of 4 to 6.

The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue warning for high winds at 6:00 on December 2. It is expected that from 8:00 on December 2 to 8:00 on December 3, there will be winds of 5 to 6 with gusts of 7 to 8 in northern and western Tibet, southern Qinghai, eastern Inner Mongolia, eastern Heilongjiang, southern Liaoning, eastern Shandong Peninsula, and northern Henan; there will be strong winds of 7 to 8 with gusts of 9 in Bohai Sea, Bohai Strait, northern and northerly waters of the Yellow Sea, Taiwan Strait, Bashi Strait, and northeastern waters of the South China Sea.

In terms of precipitation , on December 2, there will be light to moderate snow or sleet in northeastern Inner Mongolia, northern Heilongjiang, and northern and southwestern Xinjiang. From December 3 to 6, there will be light to moderate rain in the eastern part of Southwest China, southern Huanghuai, Jianghuai, Jianghan, Jiangnan, and northwestern South China, and rain turning into sleet in southern Shaanxi.

Experts warn that with the arrival of cold air, the temperature in areas north of the Yangtze River will fluctuate. With strong winds, the perceived temperature may be colder.
