Affected by heavy rainfall and upstream floods, the water level of the main stream of the Beijiang River in the Pearl River Basin continued to rise. As of 12:00 on June 21, the water level at the Yingde station of the Beijiang River in Guangdong was 34.57 meters, 8.57 meters above the warning level, and has exceeded the highest water level measured in history.

At 22:00 on the 21st, the Pearl River Flood Control Headquarters upgraded the flood control level II emergency response to level I. The Guangdong Provincial Flood Control Headquarters required that key areas decisively adopt one or more necessary measures such as suspension of classes, work, production, operation and business.

Yingde

The water level at the Yingde station of the Beijiang River reached 35.89 meters at 9 a.m. today, exceeding the warning level by 9.89 meters.

It was previously estimated that the peak water level at Yingde station on the main stream of the Beijiang River will be around 36.10 meters around 8 o'clock today, exceeding the warning water level by more than 10 meters.
