It looks warm! New cold-proof quilts are available for frontier guards on the plateau

Recently, the Logistics Support Department of the Central Military Commission has developed a batch of new cold-proof bedding for officers and soldiers on the plateau border, and has sent them to the front line of the border one after another. The person in charge of the Military Supplies and Energy Bureau of the Logistics Support Department of the Central Military Commission said that this batch of new cold-proof bedding, a total of 10 types, was specially tailored for officers and soldiers on the plateau border by military and local experts and well-known enterprises organized by them. It has the characteristics of high technical content, good warmth retention effect and light overall material. It will provide strong logistical support for the officers and soldiers on duty and training in high-altitude and cold conditions.

Based on extensive research at the front line, the relevant departments of the Logistics Support Department of the Central Military Commission, based on the new multifunctional individual sleeping bags, down training coats, down cotton clothes and trousers customized for officers and soldiers on the plateau last year, have organized relevant personnel to go to the plateau and border defense many times this year according to the characteristics of the high-cold climate environment of the plateau, and developed 10 new products such as long down duty coats, thermos kettles, self-heating protective gear, and sniper camouflage clothing. Relevant officials introduced that among these new products, while enhancing the protective function, they further improve the lightness and convenience, and increase the technological content.

Introduction to some newly developed products for plateau border defense

1. Long down duty coat

Design concept: Based on the existing training coat, the thermal insulation materials are optimized and the clothing structure is improved, which greatly improves the practicality and warmth. In terms of structure, 3D three-dimensional cutting is adopted to increase the space for shoulder and elbow movement, and the tactical applicability is further enhanced. In view of the needs of officers and soldiers to fight and perform duties in high-altitude windy environments, a windproof skirt is designed at the waist on the basis of increasing the length of the coat, and an adjustable fleece-filled knee pad is also provided, which significantly improves the windproof and warmth performance.

Technological content: In terms of material selection, the fabric is made of nylon-cotton windproof cloth, which is wind-resistant, cold-resistant, oil-proof and water-proof; the filling is 95% white down, which has excellent fluffiness and warmth retention, and the filling amount is increased to ensure warmth retention.

2. Thermos bottle

Variety composition: It consists of six items: a kettle, a lunch box, a vegetable box, a folding spoon, a hanging rope (including a cable winder), and a carrying bag.

Technological content: Made of titanium alloy, it has high strength, light weight, good thermal insulation effect, and intelligent temperature sensing function, which can quickly tell the temperature at a glance to avoid high temperature burns.

3. Anti-fragmentation glasses

Variety composition: The lenses include polarized lenses and yellow light-enhancing lenses, and are equipped with a detachable elastic headband.

Design concept: The whole is made of impact-resistant PC material. The glasses are salt spray resistant and can be used in temperatures between -40℃ and 55℃. The glasses have a 600 degree bend, which wraps around the eye shape and is conducive to shielding from wind and sand.

Technology content: Polarized lenses are not only impact-resistant, anti-glare, anti-ultraviolet, wear-resistant, flame-retardant and anti-fog, but also have anti-glare function. Light-enhancing lenses can improve the clarity of vision in dim environments and are specially used in cloudy, dusty environments. They are also impact-resistant, wear-resistant, flame-retardant and anti-fog. Two pairs of lenses can basically cope with various light environments.

4. Electric Heated Gloves

The electric heated gloves are a two-finger style that integrates cold protection, warmth retention and electric heating. You can wear the gloves when shooting. They are windproof and waterproof, have good warmth retention and can be electrically heated.

5. Electric Heating Knee Pad

It uses flexible heating silver film, which has fast heating speed, uniform heating temperature, long service life, and is soft and foldable. It is also equipped with silicone rings and double-sided handle spring bars to effectively protect the knee joint.

6. Electric Heating Insoles

The insole is integrated with the heating system and power supply, making it light and easy to use. The insole surface is made of black velvet antibacterial fabric, which is soft and comfortable.
