The efficacy and function of persimmon leaves

After thousands of years of sedimentation and accumulation, the types and quantities of Chinese medicine have become quite astonishing. Therefore, choosing Chinese medicine to treat some difficult and complicated diseases always has a very good effect. Next, I would like to recommend a Chinese medicine, persimmon leaf.

[Chemical composition] Contains flavonoids, tannins, phenols, resins, coumarin compounds, reducing sugars, polysaccharides, volatile oils, organic acids (betulinic acid, oleanolic acid, ursolic acid), and chlorophyll. Flavonoid glycosides include astragaloside and myrica rubra glycoside. It is also rich in vitamin C and carotene (about 76 micrograms/gram).

The injection made from the leaves has a certain antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Catarrhalis in vitro. Intraperitoneal injection into rabbits has a cooling effect. It is not highly toxic to animals, does not cause hemolysis, and does not affect peripheral blood counts.
