[Original form] Perennial herb, 35 to 90 cm tall. The small branches have downward-pointing white soft hairs. Simple leaves are opposite; broadly ovate, 1-3 cm long, 7-25 mm wide, obtuse or slightly pointed at the apex, broadly cuneate or truncated at the base, with 3-5 coarse round serrations on each edge, 5 lateral veins, short soft hairs and golden fine glandular dots on both sides; petiole 3-4 mm long. The flowers are blue-purple, solitary in the leaf axils; the pedicel is slender, with a pair of short linear bracts in the middle and upper parts; the calyx has a short tube, with short soft hairs and golden-yellow glandular dots on the outside, 5-lobed, and the lobes are ovate; the corolla has 4 lobes.
