The pedicel is 40-100cm high, with 1-3 stem leaves; 3 bracts, each containing 2 flowers; pedicel 1.5-3.5cm long; 6 perianth lobes, dark purple, 9-10cm in diameter, perianth tube 1.5-2.5cm long; 3 outer lobes, with yellow-white radiating markings on the midrib, without appendages, and small, erect inner perianth lobes; 3 stamens, anthers blue-purple, longer than filaments; ovary inferior, cylindrical, 1.6-2.3cm long, 3mm in diameter, style branches flat, arched, 3-4cm long, 2-lobed at the apex, lobes triangular, with sparse teeth. The capsule is oblong, 4.5-5.5cm long and 1.5-1.8cm in diameter, with a short beak at the tip and 6 distinct ribs; the seeds are flat, semicircular, and have wing-like edges. The flowering period is June-July, and the fruiting period is August-September.
