【Meridian】 "Quanzhou Materia Medica": "Enters the heart, spleen, and lung meridians."

【Functions and indications】 Clears away heat, cools blood, regulates qi and removes dampness. Treat cough, lung abscess, vomiting blood, hemoptysis, leucorrhea, leucorrhea, sores, and carbuncle.

[Usage and Dosage] For oral use: decoct in water, 0.5-1 liang for fresh ones; or grind into powder. For external use: mash the juice and apply.

[Additional prescription] ① Treating cough caused by exertion: 1 liang of dried Jianlan flower leaves, 5 qian of red deer grass (i.e. deer grass with spore sacs).
