[Source] Medicinal material source: the fruiting body of the fungus Polymorpha glabra of the Polymorphaceae family.

[Original morphology] The fruiting body is nearly spherical to pear-shaped, with a diameter of 1.5-3.5cm. Earthy yellow, turning into light smoke color after maturity; spores are light blue-brown, smooth, spherical, 3.5-4.5μm in diameter, and often contain an oil droplet; hyphae are the same color as spores, branched, and 2.5-4.5μm thick.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: grows on grassy slopes, in thickets or sparse woods.
