The capsule is oblong to round, shorter than the inner sepals, about 5mm long, with honeycomb papillae, winged, ciliate, and slightly emarginate at the apex. The seeds are slightly flat, oblong, black, about 4 mm long, covered with white long hairs, with a helmet-shaped, very short 3-lobed caruncle. The flowering period is from July to September, and the fruiting period is from August to October.
