Luotu Technology: In August 2023, the export volume of monitors from mainland China will reach 12.5 million units, an increase of 11.6% year-on-year

According to data released by RUNTO, in August 2023, the export volume of monitors from mainland China was 12.5 million units, up 11.6% year-on-year ; the export value was 10.88 billion yuan, up 6.0% year-on-year. August was the first month of positive growth in the export volume of Chinese monitors this year, and it was also the first time that the export volume exceeded 12 million units this year. The increase mainly came from Eastern Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia.

North America is the largest market for China's monitor exports. In August, China exported about 4.07 million units to North America, up 25% year-on-year, accounting for 33% of total exports. The main sales area in North America is the United States, accounting for 93% of the share , equivalent to 30% of total exports, and it is also the first time this year that the volume has achieved positive growth.

The export volume to Asia was about 3.17 million units, up 20% year-on-year, accounting for 25% of the total export volume, making it the second largest region in the world. However, in terms of export value, Asia ranked third with a share of 19%, mainly because the main countries such as India and Vietnam mainly sell low-end products.

Exports to Western Europe accounted for 20%, down 13% year-on-year, while exports to Eastern Europe accounted for 8.3%, up 48% year-on-year. In particular, exports to Russia and Belarus increased by 107% and 1783% year-on-year respectively.
