The flowers are solitary, fragrant, 10-15cm in diameter, with 9-12 or more perianths, the outer 3 petals are green, curling outwards when in bloom, the inner two petals are white, obovate-spoon-shaped; there are many stamens, 2-3cm long, with red filaments; there are many pistils, separated.
