The cymes are opposite to the leaves, with the pedicel longer than the petiole; the flowers are small and yellow-green; the calyx is undivided; there are 5 petals; the edges of the disk are truncate; there are 5 stamens; the ovary has 2 chambers, and the style is thin. The berries are nearly spherical, about 6 mm in diameter, and orange-yellow when ripe.

[Habitat distribution] It mostly grows on roadsides, ditch sides, thickets under forests on hillsides, gravel on hillsides, and on sandy land. Distributed in Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Henan, Shandong, Hebei, Shanxi and other places.
