The female flowers have many reduced stamens, an ovate ovary, a short style, and a capitate stigma. The berry-like drupe is nearly spherical, 4-5mm in diameter, glabrous, green when young, and black when ripe; the fruit stalk is 2-4mm long. The flowering period is from February to April, and the fruiting period is from June to August. [Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown on sunny slopes, hills, forest edge thickets or sparse woods. 【Cultivation】 1. Biological characteristics: It prefers a humid climate. It likes light and will grow poorly under insufficient light conditions. It is suitable for growing in deep, well-drained acidic red soil, yellow soil and mountain brown soil, and should not be planted in low-lying waterlogged areas. 【Properties】 1. Properties Identification: The fruit is spherical, with a diameter of 4-6mm. The surface is brown to brown-black with reticular wrinkles, and there are often fruit stalk marks at the base. The mesocarp is easy to peel off; the endocarp is dark brown-red, the peel is hard and brittle, and there is one seed with two thick cotyledons inside, which is rich in oil. [Pharmacological action] 1. Antiplatelet aggregation effect In vitro experiments show that citral at a concentration of 0.5 mg/ml can significantly inhibit collagen or ADP-induced rat platelet aggregation, and inhibit arachidonic acid-induced human platelet aggregation. Oral administration of 1g/kg citral to rats can also inhibit ADP-induced platelet aggregation. The mechanism may be due to preventing the generation and release of TXA2-like substances in platelets. [Toxicity] The compound litsea cubeba oil emulsion was injected into rabbits through a cholecystostomy tube at 2 ml/kg, once a day, for a total of 14 times. While observing the litholytic effect, it was found to have a certain toxicity to rabbits. The main side effects were diarrhea and increased ALT. It is speculated that the diarrheal effect is related to the stimulation of the intestinal mucosa by the litsea cubeba oil and the high osmotic pressure caused by sodium cholate, EDTA-2Na and Na+ in the sodium hydroxide used to adjust the pH. [Identification] Physical and chemical identification Thin layer chromatography: Take 100g of the powder of this product, extract the volatile oil, add anhydrous sodium sulfate for dehydration, and dilute with ethyl acetate to a 10% solution as the sample solution. Take citral and prepare a reference solution with ethyl acetate. The above two solutions were respectively spotted on the same silica gel G1% CMC thin layer plate, developed with ethyl benzene acetate-acetic acid (90:5:5), with a development distance of 10 cm, and colored with 0.3% o-dianisidine glacial acetic acid solution. Spots of the same color appeared in the sample liquid chromatogram at the corresponding position of the reference substance chromatogram. [Preparation] Take the original medicinal materials, remove impurities and residual fruit stalks, wash and dry them. Crush when using. 【Nature and flavor】 Pungent; slightly bitter; warm 【Meridian】 Spleen; Stomach; Kidney 【Functions and indications】Warms the middle and relieves pain; promotes qi and blood circulation; relieves asthma; and is a diuretic. It is mainly used for cold pain in the abdomen; bloating due to food accumulation; nausea and vomiting; vomiting and diarrhea due to heatstroke; diarrhea and dysentery; abdominal pain due to cold hernia; asthma; cold-damp water droplets; urinary difficulty; turbid urine; sores and swelling; toothache; cold-damp arthralgia; traumatic injury [Usage and Dosage] For oral use: decoction, 3-10g; grind into powder, 1-2g. For external use: take appropriate amount, grind into powder and sprinkle or apply on the affected area. 【Note】 Avoid using if you have excess heat or excessive fire due to yin deficiency. 【Excerpt】 Chinese Materia Medica After learning so much about the various aspects of the Chinese medicine Cheng Qiezi, I believe that we can remain calm when facing the troubles of the disease and treat the treatment of the disease correctly. |
