Leaves are opposite; petiole is 4-8mm long; leaf blade is elliptical, 3-10cm long. 2.5-6cm wide, gradually pointed at the apex, rounded or broadly cuneate at the base, with fine serrations on the edge, green above with scattered stellate hairs, lighter below, with stellate hairs mostly having 5-7 radiating lines, no long central radiating line, and no simple hairs on the veins.
