In traditional Chinese medicine, people with weak constitution and poor spleen and stomach can choose to take Xiao Jianzhong Decoction, which can regulate our stomach and intestines very well and nourish our body. It is especially appropriate to choose it to recuperate after we are sick. Well, let me introduce to you the composition and various functions of Xiao Jianzhong Decoction. Xiao Jianzhong Decoction originated from Treatise on Febrile Diseases, and has the effects of warming the middle, nourishing yin and blood, and harmonizing the interior. It is mainly used to treat deficiency and urgency syndrome, with symptoms including occasional pain in the abdomen, preference for heat and desire for pressure, pale tongue with white coating, and thin and stringy pulse; or deficiency with restlessness, restlessness, pale face, or hot hands and feet, dry throat and mouth, etc. Ingredients: maltose, cinnamon twigs, peony flowers, raw licorice, red dates, and ginger slices. This syndrome is mostly caused by deficiency-cold in the middle jiao, disharmony between the liver and spleen, and insufficient source of metabolism. The treatment is mainly based on nourishing yin and blood in the middle jiao, and harmonizing the interior to alleviate the severity of the disease. The middle burner is cold and weak, and the liver wood takes over the earth, so there is cramps and pain in the stomach, and the patient likes warmth and pressure. The stomach and intestines are the source of the biochemistry of blood and qi. If the middle burner is cold and weak, the source of transformation is poor, and both blood and qi are deficient, symptoms such as palpitations, pale face, fever, dry mouth and throat will occur. Ju Rui Qi emphasizes maltose, which is sweet, warm and moist, as the main ingredient. It can clear and nourish the middle burner, relieve severe and urgent pain. I use the pungent and warm cinnamon twig to warm the qi and blood and dispel the cold evil; the sour and sweet red peony root nourishes the yin, relieves the liver's urgency and stops abdominal pain. Add ginger slices to warm the stomach and dispel cold, and red dates to strengthen the spleen and nourish the blood. Raw licorice root nourishes blood and strengthens the body, and harmonizes various medicines, thus serving as an adjuvant. Among them, maltose is paired with cinnamon twig, which can transform yang with pungent and sweet properties, warm the middle burner and replenish spleen deficiency; peony flower is paired with licorice, which can transform yin with sour and sweet properties, relieve liver urgency and stop abdominal pain. The six medicines are used together to warm the middle, nourish yin and blood, and regulate the severity of the disease. It has the meaning of softening the liver and regulating the spleen, benefiting yin and harmonizing yang. It can strengthen the kidney qi and regulate yin and blood qi, so it is named "Jianzhong". All the deficiency symptoms treated by Xiao Jianzhong Decoction are caused by deficiency-cold in the middle burner and insufficient source of transformation. This recipe is made by modifying Guizhi Decoction with twice the amount of peony flower and more maltose, so as to warm the middle and strengthen the spleen, regulate qi and replenish blood. The name "Xiao Jianzhong" means the small creation of kidney qi. Although Guizhi Decoction and Xiaojianzhong Decoction differ in composition by only one ingredient, their efficacy and effects are different. Xiao Jianzhong Decoction is used to treat symptoms of kidney deficiency, but the exterior is not yet in harmony, so it is afraid of heavy tonic, so cinnamon twig is still used to harmonize the Ying and Wei; the amount of peony flower is doubled and maltose is added, with pungent and warm drugs as the main ingredients, combined with heart and sour, to form an agent that can transform the pungent and sweet into the Yang and the sour and sweet into the Yin, so as to regulate the Central Plains, make the Yang and Yin complement each other, and make the kidney qi independent; after the Central Plains is regulated, the Ying and Wei will be in harmony, body fluids can be produced, sweating will relieve the symptoms, and all symptoms of deficiency can be eliminated. In recent years, with the popularization of the marketing of classical prescriptions, the main use of Xiao Jianzhong Decoction in clinical medicine has become more and more common. It can be used for those who suffer from physical depletion, energy decline, complicated medical conditions and gradual illness caused by various chronic diseases, as long as the prescription and symptoms are matched. Xiao Jianzhong Decoction is a basic TCM prescription for regulating the human body and is very good for our body. People with weaker physical fitness can take the medicine according to the above-mentioned Chinese medicine ingredients, and then take it according to the above simple method and their own actual situation. I believe that our body will gradually get better. |
