[Original morphology] Rough diamond crab, the cephalothorax is a wide pentagon, the back is significantly uneven, the forehead is thick, with many granules, and the middle part is deeply concave. The liver, lateral stomach, middle stomach, heart and gills are all significantly raised and have irregular wart-like protrusions. Each area is separated by wide grooves of varying depths. The anterior and posterior margins have several tooth processes, and the posterior margin has blunt protrusions at both ends. The cheek area, abdomen and plastron are covered with deep depressions. The chelipeds are thick and asymmetrical, with wart-like protrusions and irregular sharp spines on each segment, and there is a large gap when the two fingers are closed. The legs are flat, and except for the knuckles, all segments have sharp spines.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: The body color is similar to grayish white stone, and sometimes algae grow on the surface, which makes it difficult to be discovered. It often lives near intertidal corals or between rocks on the seabed at a depth of 125m.
