As the name suggests, aconite is a traditional Chinese medicinal material. It is dug between June and August every year. After removing the mother root and some mud and sand, it can be processed. Depending on the processing method, there are three types of aconite: salt aconite, black aconite, white aconite, roasted aconite and light aconite. These types of processed aconite can all be called roasted aconite, so when we go to the pharmacy to buy it, if the prescription only says roasted aconite, then whichever one they give you is correct. Therefore, you must clearly write on the prescription which type of aconite it is, but general pharmacies do not have salted aconite. Now let’s talk about the usage and dosage of Pao Fu Zi. 1. Indications of Pao Fu Zi: Restore yang and rescue from adverse condition, replenish fire and assist yang, expel wind, cold and dampness. And you need to use the medicine according to your own detailed situation and appropriate dosage. Too much is as bad as too little. This is because aconite contains the toxic ingredient aconitine, which mainly has an excitatory and paralyzing effect on the myocardium, vagus nerve, and peripheral nerves. Symptoms of poisoning include numbness of the tip of the tongue, numbness of the limbs, a feeling of ants crawling, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, etc., and the most serious ones can be life-threatening. It is forbidden to be taken by patients with Yin deficiency and Yang excess, true heat and false cold, and pregnant women. This product is pungent, hot and dry. It is not suitable for people with Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity and pregnant women. It is contraindicated with Pinellia, Trichosanthes, Fritillaria, Bletilla striata, and Bletilla striata. Because it is poisonous, it must be processed before oral administration. If taken excessively or if the preparation or decoction methods are improper, it may cause poisoning. ① "Bencao Jing Jizhu": Didan is the messenger. Evil centipede.
