Flowers are unisexual, dioecious, often clustered in leaf axils in 1-8; flowers are white, green or yellow; sepals are ovate, about 1.5mm long, persistent, with short soft hairs; male flower petals are obovate, about 3.5mm long, with 20 stamens, with or without a reduced ovary; female flower petals are lanceolate, about 2.5mm long, without stamens, glabrous ovary, and style is about 2mm long with three deep lobes at the tip. The berries are spherical, about 4mm in diameter.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing on hillsides, forest edges and ditch edges at an altitude of 50-2000m.

[Properties] Identification of properties: The leaves are lanceolate, 4-10cm long and 1-2cm wide; the tip is gradually pointed, the base is cuneate, and the edges are finely serrated; the surface is gray-green or green-brown, and hairs can be seen underneath.
