[Source] Medicinal material source: the roots and rhizomes of the Ranunculaceae plant Thalictrum lucidum.

[Original form] Alpine thrush, a small perennial herb. The whole plant is hairless. There are 4-5 or more leaves, all basal, bipinnate-ternate; petiole 1.5-3.5cm long; blade 1.5-4cm long, leaflets thin leathery, with short petioles or sessile, rounded rhombus, rhombus-broadly obovate or obovate, 3-5mm long and wide, base rounded or broadly cuneate, 3 shallowly lobed, lobes entire, veins not obvious. There are 1-2 scapes, 6-20cm high, unbranched; the raceme is 2.2-9cm long; the bracts are small, narrowly ovate; the pedicels are curved downward; there are 4 sepals, which are green-white, oval, and easy to fall off; there are 7-10 stamens, the anthers are narrowly oblong, with a short tip at the tip, and the filaments are filiform; there are 3-5 carpels, and the stigma is arrow-shaped. Achenes narrowly elliptic, slightly flattened, with 8 thick longitudinal ribs. The flowering period is June-July, and the fruiting period is August.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing in high mountain areas at an altitude of 2500-5300m, shady and wet places in valleys or swamps.
