The efficacy and function of hirudin

Hirudin has an inhibitory effect on thrombin, and has anticoagulant and antithrombotic effects, as well as the effect of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.

Hirudin is extracted from leeches and salivary glands. It contains a variety of active ingredients and is a small molecule polypeptide composed of multiple amino acids. Hirudin has a relatively strong inhibitory effect on thrombin and is a natural specific inhibitor with the effects of inhibiting coagulation and anti-thrombosis. It is mainly used in clinical practice to treat various thrombosis. Hirudin can be used to treat acute myocardial infarction and can be used as an auxiliary drug for thrombolytic therapy. It can also prevent coronary artery occlusion and has a preventive effect on arterial thrombosis and venous thrombosis. When thrombocytopenia occurs, taking hirudin can achieve an anticoagulant effect.

Hirudin does not activate the fibrinolytic system, so adverse reactions such as bleeding are relatively rare. However, you must take the medication as directed by your doctor and avoid taking large doses to avoid bleeding reactions. During treatment, you also need to go to the hospital regularly for coagulation function tests and thrombin time tests to avoid bleeding.

While taking the medication, you should eat light food and try to avoid eating irritating foods to avoid affecting the absorption and utilization of the medication. At the same time, you also need to eat more high-quality protein foods to improve your immune system.
