What is Active Cordyceps?

I believe everyone is familiar with the words Cordyceps sinensis. They are the medicinal materials we often talk about and are very valuable in traditional Chinese medicine. However, the detailed knowledge is not very well known. So what is active Cordyceps sinensis? I believe that many people in life do not understand it and are not clear about it. Let's see what Chinese medicine experts say about active Cordyceps sinensis. The following is an explanation of active Cordyceps sinensis. You can still understand it in your daily life, and don't blindly believe it.

Chinese Caterpillar Fungus, also known as Cordyceps sinensis, Cordyceps sinensis, and Chinese Cordyceps, is a fungus of the genus Cordyceps in the family Ophiopogonidae of the order Hypophyceales that parasitizes the larvae of bat moths in the soil of alpine meadows, causing the larvae to become rigid. Under suitable conditions, a long stick-shaped fruiting body grows out from the head end of the dead insect in summer, forming a complex consisting of the fruiting body of the Cordyceps sinensis fungus and the dead insect's sclerotium (larvae corpse). The main active ingredient is cordycepin, which has many functions such as regulating immune system function, anti-tumor, anti-fatigue, tonifying the lungs and kidneys, stopping bleeding and resolving phlegm, retaining essence and invigorating qi, etc.

Cordyceps sinensis is a kind of fungus that parasitizes on insects. The ancients did not understand this and thought it was a bug in winter and a grass in summer, which was very magical, so they believed it was a panacea. In fact, the composition of Cordyceps sinensis is no different from that of other insects and fungi. It is mainly composed of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. The special ingredient cordycepic acid only accounts for 7%, even though cordycepic acid has special health benefits.

I believe that everyone is familiar with Cordyceps sinensis, and everyone knows that it is a common medicinal material in our lives. I hope everyone can learn more about this knowledge in life, because only by knowing it can we avoid using it indiscriminately, which will reduce some unnecessary harm. I hope everyone can learn more about the above-introduced ones in life, so as to avoid harm when using them.
