Poria cocos is also used as Poria cocos cake, Poria cocos crisps and Poria cocos wine. Some countries use Poria cocos as the raw material for common naval medicines and tonics. (2) Poria cocos and coix seed porridge. Take 25g each of Poria cocos and Coix seeds, 5g of dried tangerine peel and an appropriate amount of polished rice, cook into porridge. Treats diarrhea and difficulty urinating in children due to spleen deficiency.

(3) Poria cocos and coix seed cake. Take 30g each of Poria cocos, coix seed and white flour and an appropriate amount of white sugar, grind them into fine powder, press them into cakes and steam them. It is suitable for children to eat and has the effect of harmonizing the spleen and stomach.

(iv) Poria cocos, tangerine peel and ginger juice tea. Boil 25 grams of Poria cocos and 5 grams of dried tangerine peel in water, and add 10 drops of ginger juice when drinking. It has the effect of strengthening the spleen and stomach, and can treat vomiting during pregnancy.

(V) Poria cocos and chestnut porridge: 15g Poria cocos, 25g chestnuts, 10 jujubes, and 100g polished rice. Add water and cook chestnuts, jujubes and glutinous rice first; grind Poria cocos into powder, add it slowly when the rice is half cooked, stir well, and cook until the chestnuts are cooked through. Sugar can be added to season the food. This prescription uses Poria cocos to nourish the spleen and eliminate dampness, chestnuts to nourish the spleen and stop diarrhea, and jujubes to benefit the spleen and stomach. Used for weak spleen and stomach, reduced appetite, loose stools and diarrhea.

(6) Poria cocos and Ophiopogon japonicus porridge: 15g each of Poria cocos and Ophiopogon japonicus, 100g of corn. Add corn to water and cook into porridge; boil the two medicinal herbs to obtain a thick juice, add it when the rice is half cooked, and cook together. Originated from "Shenghuifang". This prescription uses Poria cocos to calm the mind and soothe the nerves, Ophiopogon japonicus to nourish yin and clear the heart, and millet to eliminate restlessness and heat. It is used for heart yin deficiency, chest heat, palpitations, insomnia, dry mouth and tongue.
