Are centipedes poisonous?

No matter what kind of centipede it is, it is poisonous. Even the most common centipede in our home has a strong toxin. If you are bitten by it accidentally, it may cause poisoning. After being bitten by a centipede, wash the wound immediately with soapy water, apply cold wet compresses to the wound locally, or apply mashed Houttuynia cordata or dandelion externally. If you have systemic symptoms, go to the hospital immediately.

Emergency treatment
