【Original form】 ① Azalea orchid

[Properties] ① The dried pseudobulb of azalea is spherical, pointed and round or slightly flat, with a diameter of 1 to 2 cm. The surface is tan or gray-brown with fine wrinkles. There is a round pedicle at the top; there are fibrous roots in the depression at the bottom, which are about 1 to 3 cm long and 1 to 2 mm thick; there are concave or protruding links at the waist, commonly known as "belt". The pseudobulb is surrounded by sparse or dense golden-yellow filamentous hairs and black whiskers. Or the fibrous roots and the outer bark have been removed. The texture is solid, the inside is yellowish white or black and rough. It has a light taste, slight fragrance, and becomes sticky when in contact with water. The best ones are those that are large, plump, yellow-white in cross section and firm in texture.
