Leaves opposite; petiole 5-15mmn1 long; leaf blade hard papery, oblong-elliptic to elliptic-ovate, 5-11cm long, 1.5-3.5cm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate or obtuse, surface glabrous, dorsal surface covered with very fine pubescence, nearly entire or with dense and fine serrations; 3-veined from base, basal vein and lateral veins raised, veinlets not obvious.
