[Source] It is the bulb of Fritillaria taipaiensis PY Li, a plant of the Liliaceae family .

[Original form] Perennial herb, 30-40cm tall. The bulb diameter is 1 to 1.5 cm. Leaves are opposite, some with 3-4 leaves in whorls or scattered in the middle, linear to linear-lanceolate, 5-10 cm long, 3-7 (-12) mm wide, and some with slightly curved tips. The flowers are solitary, each with three leaf-like bracts, the tips of the bracts are sometimes bent, but never curled; there are 6 tepals, 3-4 cm long, green-yellow, without checkered spots, and usually only with purple spots on the edges of both sides near the tip of the tepals; the outer 3 tepals are narrowly obovate-rectangular, 9-12 mm wide, and rounded at the tip; the inner 3 tepals are nearly spoon-shaped, 12-17 mm wide at the top, 3-5 mm wide at the base, with abrupt convex and blunt tips, and the nectary nests are almost not protruding or slightly protruding; the anthers are nearly base-fixed, and the filaments usually have small papillae; the split part of the style is 3-4 mm long.
