[Properties] This product is in irregular flake or gourd shape, of varying sizes, 1.5 to 3 mm thick. The outer surface is reddish brown, brownish yellow or dark brown, slightly shiny, rough, and has numerous wart-like protrusions. Some have protruding tubular persistent calyx and short and thick pedicels or pedicel scars. The inner surface is yellow or reddish brown, with raised, reticular remnants of the fruit pedicel.
