At 9:32 am Beijing time on November 3, 2022, the Mengtian laboratory module of China's space station successfully completed its transfer.

The space station modules, manned spacecraft, cargo spacecraft, relay satellites and the Long March series of launch vehicles used to launch these spacecraft used in China's space station project were all developed by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation . Relevant units of the Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation also participated in other subsystems of the project.

During the transfer, the Mengtian experimental module first completed the relevant state settings, then separated from the space station assembly, and then completed the transfer in about an hour using the plane transfer method, and re-docked with the side port of the node module of the Tianhe core module. This afternoon, the Shenzhou 14 astronaut crew will enter the Mengtian experimental module.

The completion of the transfer of the Mengtian experimental module marks the completion of the in-orbit assembly of the "T" basic configuration of China's space station , and a key step towards the goal of building a space station. According to the plan, basic functional testing and evaluation of the space station assembly will be carried out in the future.
