Gurgle, gurgle! Why is there always gas in my stomach?

This article was reviewed by Dr. Tao Ning, Associate Professor at the National Institute

I believe many of my friends have had this experience.

I'm not hungry.

But my stomach keeps making rumbling noises.

I always burp and fart.

Well, you know the gas in your stomach?

Also, where does the exhaust gas come from?

Let’s continue reading!

It turns out that this is how the gas in the stomach comes from.

Firstly, if you eat too fast or talk while eating, some air will go into your stomach through your open mouth, and keep moving in your intestines, making gurgling sounds.

The second reason is eating some gas-producing foods, such as sweet potatoes, potatoes and other high-starch foods; beans, soy milk and other soy products; and some carbonated drinks, which produce gas during digestion, causing you to burp and fart.

Another problem is your own. If the gastrointestinal motility is poor, food cannot be digested and absorbed in time, which can easily produce gas.

Therefore, everyone should pay attention to their usual eating habits, chew slowly when eating, ensure balanced nutrition, exercise more, and promote gastrointestinal motility. Of course, if you have long-term bloating, you should still go to a regular hospital for treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
