Zhang Fanghua: From the night of December 23 to December 26, most areas in central and eastern my country will experience significant wind and cooling weather. Temperatures will drop by 12-14℃ in parts of central and western Inner Mongolia, northern and western North China, southern Northeast China, eastern Huanghuai, eastern Jianghuai, eastern Jiangnan, eastern Guizhou, and western Hunan, with temperatures dropping by more than 14℃ in some areas.

From the 23rd to the 25th: The temperature in most areas of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and to the north of it will generally drop by 6 to 10°C. Parts of central Inner Mongolia, northern Shanxi, northwestern Hebei, northeastern Liaoning, southeastern Jilin and Shandong Peninsula will experience a drop of more than 12°C.

Around the 28th: ​​The lowest 0℃ line will be located in the southern part of Jiangnan to the southern part of Guizhou. In addition, from the night of the 23rd to the 27th, there will be 7-9 gale in the eastern and southern seas of my country, with gusts of about 10.

The temperature has dropped significantly in most parts of central and eastern China, especially in the southern region where the maximum temperature has dropped more significantly. In terms of power dispatching: In the south, the arrival of the cold wave will intensify the public's use of air conditioners, and freezing rain will cause problems such as freezing of electric wires. The power department should do a good job in power dispatching to ensure safe electricity use.

In terms of agricultural production: Facility agriculture should guard against strong winds, and make preparations in advance for windproof reinforcement and insulation of greenhouses, livestock pens and temporary structures, and strengthen fire source management.

In terms of transportation: Rainy and snowy weather causes a high risk of road icing and snow accumulation. Amid the interweaving of epidemic prevention and control and cold waves, the public should try to reduce going out and pay special attention to keeping warm.

Meteorological departments in various regions strengthen coordination and actively provide cold wave service guarantee

In view of the great pressure on heating and power supply caused by the continuous low temperature process from the 24th to the 26th, a special report on heating was issued in advance to serve the energy dispatch work.

Tianjin Meteorological Bureau: On the 22nd, it issued an "Important Weather Report" to the Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, and all member units of the Municipal Meteorological Disaster Emergency Command; while issuing blue warning signals for cold waves and blue warning signals for strong winds on land, it also jointly issued a yellow warning for meteorological risks of stroke with the Municipal Health Meteorological Cross-Innovation Center, and delivered warning information through various media to remind the public to take precautions; it promptly issued meteorological service reports to electricity, heating, water supply and other departments to assist in scientific regulation.

Inner Mongolia Meteorological Bureau: On the 21st and 22nd, it issued a severe temperature drop weather forecast, a facility agriculture disaster weather forecast, and a pastoral weather forecast, and issued a cold wave blue warning on the 23rd. Currently, the autonomous region's meteorological bureau has entered a level 4 emergency response state for major meteorological disasters (cold waves).

Jilin Provincial Meteorological Bureau: On the 21st, the weather information "The temperature in our province will reach a new low since this winter from the 24th to the 26th" was released, and on the 23rd, a blue warning signal for cold waves was issued, and multiple media in the province were contacted to remind the public to take precautions against cold and keep warm. Agricultural meteorological experts went to the facility agriculture park to guide farmers to prevent frost damage to greenhouse crops.
