Where does the oil on your face come from? I finally found the reason

Some people have a dry, clear and delicate face when they go out in the morning, but after a morning, their face becomes oily and looks like an oil field in seconds.

Especially now that we have to wear a mask when going out, it is very embarrassing to be told that the oil on our face can be used to cook a dish.

So, do you know where the oil on your face comes from? Let's learn about the secret.

It turns out that the "oil" on our face is called "sebum", which is secreted by a guy called the sebaceous gland of the hair follicle inside the skin.

In fact, in addition to our faces, there are sebaceous glands on the back and chest, so these parts tend to produce oil.

Sebum can protect our skin. It not only lubricates the skin but also prevents skin from cracking.

However, if sebum secretion is too abundant, a series of skin problems will occur, such as enlarged pores and even seborrheic dermatitis.

If your face is often oily, it means that there is too much sebum.

However, the secretion function of your sebaceous glands is affected by many factors, such as: hormone levels in the body, genetic factors, environment, work and rest, etc.

Therefore, if you want to control oil, you still have to find the right cause and take the right medicine.
