The Wujiang River water transport in Guizhou Province has recently resumed full operation. 14 cargo ships loaded with 6,800 tons of phosphate rock departed from Kaiyang Port of Guiyang Port, and were transferred to Chongqing Fuling before entering the Yangtze River and arriving at Wuhu Port in Anhui Province. When the fleet passed the navigation project of Wujiang Goupitan Hydropower Station, it first entered the upstream pilot channel, then entered the first-level ship compartment, took the "elevator" down, then entered the second-level ship compartment, then passed through the middle channel and entered the third-level ship compartment, and finally exited and entered the Wujiang waterway. When passing through the middle channel, the ship needs to travel in mid-air, presenting a magnificent landscape of "water flows to high places, and ships travel in the sky". Goupitan Hydropower Station is a key project of the National "15th Five-Year Plan", a landmark project for Guizhou Province to implement the "West-to-East Power Transmission" strategy, and the largest hydropower station built in Guizhou Province. It was put into operation in 2009.
