If we fast-forward a video of a plant's growth and development, we may be surprised to find that these inconspicuous organisms are much more complex than we thought. Although plants cannot move or make sounds, they also compete for territory, grab nutrients, and avoid natural enemies.

As one of the oldest organisms on Earth, plants have grand survival strategies. They can always adapt well to changes in their surroundings. Therefore, they have taken root on this planet for a long, long time and are changing the Earth in their own way.

How do plants perceive the world? What do they "feel"? How do plants use these "feelings" to better coexist with the environment?
