Ministry of Commerce: National online retail sales during the 2025 Spring Festival will increase by 5.8% year-on-year

According to the Ministry of Commerce's business big data monitoring, during the Spring Festival in 2025, the sales of key retail and catering enterprises nationwide increased by 4.1% year-on-year, and online retail sales increased by 5.8% year-on-year. The "old for new" policy for consumer goods continued to be effective, and a "new for new" trend was set off across the country. The sales of home appliances and communication equipment of key monitored retail enterprises increased by more than 10% year-on-year.
