In 2015, the number of online shoppers in China reached 413 million, and the average annual online shopping expenditure of consumers was US$1,508. The scale of B2C e-commerce in China reached US$623 billion, and B2B reached US$2.078 trillion. The number of online shoppers in the United States was 166 million, and the average annual online shopping expenditure was higher than that of China, reaching US$307.2 billion. The B2C sales in the United States reached US$511 billion, and the B2B sales reached US$6.072 trillion. In terms of the number of online shoppers, the top ten e-commerce markets are China, the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Russia, France, South Korea and India. Although Indian online shoppers rank 10th, their average annual online shopping expenditure is $891, which is higher than that of Brazil and Russia. |
