【Habitat distribution】 Distributed throughout the country.

【Functions and indications】 Softens the liver, extinguishes wind, calms the mind and soothes the nerves. Treat epilepsy, mental illness and malaria.

[Additional prescription] ① For epilepsy: one Shigugu (remove the hair and intestines first, roast until yellow, grind into powder, and put in a bottle for later use), 3 qian of Schizonepeta, 1 qian of alum, 3 qian of Raw Pinellia, and 3 qian of Rhizoma Cibotii. Take one or two ounces of earthworms from the leek field, decoct them in water to extract the liquid, and take three grams of feces powder with it, before the onset of the disease.
