【Habitat distribution】Grows in mountains and fields. Distributed in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Taiwan, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Guizhou, Sichuan and other places.

【Chemical composition】 Contains wild sumac glycoside. The branches contain fisetin and xanthocyanin. The seeds contain fatty oil.

[Pharmacological action] Fisetin has an antispasmodic effect. In the small intestine specimens of mice, its anti-spasmodic effect of acetylcholine was 166% of that of papaverine.

[Properties and flavors] "Fujian Folk Herbs": "spicy, warm, non-toxic."

【Functions and indications】 Treat ascariasis, traumatic bleeding, and calluses.

[Usage and Dosage] For oral use: decoct in water, 3 to 5 qian. For external use: grind into powder and sprinkle or mash for application.

[Additional prescription] ① Treating ascaris: 3 to 5 qian of wild lacquer tree leaves. Add appropriate amount of water and boil it, take half a bowl and drink it warm before breakfast and dinner. (Fujian Folk Herbs)
