【Original form】 Semi-evergreen shrub. The twigs have yellow-gray flat soft hairs when young. The simple leaves are alternate, leathery, elliptical or narrowly elliptical, 2.5-4.5 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, shortly acuminate at the apex with a small protrusion, cuneate at the base, entire, densely covered with yellowish-white soft hairs on the underside, and the petiole is about 4 mm long. The compound umbel inflorescence is terminal on the side branches, with small flowers and densely appressed pubescent pedicels; the calyx is 5-lobed and densely appressed pubescent; the petals are 5, broadly obovate, reddish purple; the stamens are numerous; the ovary is inferior, with 2 stigmas. Pear fruit is reddish brown.

[Habitat distribution] Grown in the shade of mountains and fields. Distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou and other places.
