When 2 g/kg of insect shoot decoction was administered orally to normal rabbits, the total daily urine output did not increase much compared with the control group. However, within the first 12 hours after administration, the urine output increased by 31.5% compared with the control group. Rabbits were given oral administration of 2 g/kg per day for one week without any adverse reactions.
