[Source] The meat of the moon clam of the family Anisopliae. Available all year round. Catch them on the beach at low tide.

[Original form] There are 2 shells, which are round and flat, thin and transparent, and the edges are easily broken. The left and right shells are unequal, the left shell is more convex and the right shell is flatter. The radial ribs and concentric growth lines on the shell surface are extremely fine and dense, and the growth lines near the ventral edge are slightly scaly. The shell surface is white and the top is slightly purple. The inside of the shell is also white with a mica-like luster. The hinge is large, and the right shell has two tooth tips of unequal lengths arranged in a "∧" shape. The corresponding part of the left shell forms two depressions with purple-black ligaments on them. There is one adductor muscle, and the adductor muscle scar is round and located in the center of the shell. The feet degenerate into finger-like shapes.
