The pseudospike inflorescence grows at the top of the stem and upper branches, and the branches at the top of the stem are often conical and glabrous; the bracts are linear-lanceolate; the flowers are 1.1-1.5cm long; the calyx is tubular, with 5 nearly equal teeth; the corolla is white or light red, the tube length is 1/4 of the corolla, the eaves is single-lipped, the middle lobe is the largest and obovate; the stamens are extended; the disk is disc-shaped, with wavy edges; the style has 2 lobes at the tip. Nutlets obovate, connate for more than half of fruit length. Flowering period is from July to September.
