③Treatment of spermatorrhea: 50 cents of palm root. Decoction in water and drink with sugar. (Hunan Pharmacopoeia)

④Treatment of red and white dysentery: 2 liang each of palm root, Liuhe grass, and red dove nest. Decoction in water. (Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Records)

⑤To treat chronic dysentery: stew meat with palm tree roots. (Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Records)

⑥Treatment for prolapse of genitals: 4 liang of palm root and 4 liang of lean pork. Boil for a long time to remove the medicine, eat the meat and soup, and eat three to five times in a row.

⑦ Treat pain in the limbs and joints: 50 cents of palm root and 20 cents of ginkgo. Decoction in water.

⑧Treat snake bites: 3 grams each of palm root, Houttuynia cordata, and mulberry bark. Wash with decoction. (The following formula is from Hunan Pharmacopoeia)

⑨For treating schizophrenia (cold abscess): appropriate amounts of palm tree roots, peach tree roots, pine tree roots, and Elaeagnus roots. Decoction in water and rinse the affected area; mash the residue and apply externally. (Jiangxi Herbal Medicine)

⑩Treat scrofula: One liang each of palm tree root, abacus root and Chinese tallow tree root. Decoction in water and take with meat soup. (Jiangxi Herbal Medicine)
