[Original form] Perennial dwarf herb with lignified rhizomes. The stems are mostly flat, rarely erect, and many branches from the base. Both stems and petioles are pubescent. Odd-pinnate compound leaves, basal leaves with 11-17 leaflets, elliptic or obovate-rectangular, 6-10 mm long, 3-6 mm wide, 2-lobed or obtuse at apex, entire, glabrous above, slightly pubescent beneath, leaflets sessile; stem leaves usually with 3-7 leaflets, stipules herbaceous. The cyme has 3 to 5 flowers, and the pedicels are pubescent. The flowers are yellow, 8 to 15 mm in diameter; the receptacle is densely pubescent. Achenes small, smooth, glabrous, styles lateral or subbasal.
