[Source] This product is the dried bulb of Fritillaria walujewii Regel or Fritillaria pallidiflora Schrenk, both of which belong to the Liliaceae family . Dig up the seeds between May and July, remove the mud and sand, dry them in the sun, and then remove the fibrous roots and outer skin.

[Properties] Xinjiang Fritillaria: oblate spherical, 0.5 to 1.5 cm high. The surface is off-white and smooth. The outer scales have two lobes, which are crescent-shaped, thick, similar in size and close together. The top is flat and cracked, the base is rounded and blunt, and there are larger scales, a residual stem, and a heart bud inside. It is hard and brittle, white in cross section and powdery. It has a faint smell and a slightly bitter taste.
