The inflorescence is small, 3-5 (-7) mm in diameter, solitary at the top of the stems and branches, erect or sometimes drooping; the pedicels are slender, with long soft hairs and glandular dots; the base of the inflorescence often has 2-3 bracteoles of unequal length; the involucre is broadly campanulate; the involucre has 4 layers, the outer layer is ovate, the middle and inner layers are oblong, slightly torn; the flowers are yellow, the outer female flower corolla is cylindrical, with 3-4 teeth; the central bisexual flower corolla is tubular, with 5 lobes at the tip.
