[Source] Medicinal material source: the roots, bark and leaves of the Ranunculaceae plant Glechoma longituba.

[Original form] Slippery-leaved vine, vine. The stems and branches are cylindrical, purple-brown, and slightly pubescent when young. Leaves are opposite, trifoliate; petiole is about 5-15cm long; leaflets are leathery, oblong, ovate-lanceolate or ovate, 2-11cm long, 0.8-4cm wide, acuminate at apex, cuneate or nearly rounded at base, entire, glabrous above, sparsely pubescent or glabrous below. Flowers are bisexual, 1-9 in clusters with leaves, pedicels 2-4cm long, densely covered with yellow-brown hairs; sepals 4, initially nearly erect, then spreading, elliptic-obovate, 2-2.5cm long, 0.7-1.5cm wide, white, densely covered with yellow-brown hairs on the outside, glabrous on the inside; petals absent; stamens numerous, slightly shorter than sepals, glabrous, anthers about 5mm long; carpels numerous. Achenes are oblong, 5-8mm long, glabrous or slightly hairy, with persistent style feathery, 1-1.5cm long. The flowering period is from December to March, and the fruiting period is from June to September.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown on hillsides, grasses, pine trees or forest edges at an altitude of 1000-2700m.

【Functions and indications】Promote qi and relieve pain; promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis; dispel wind and dampness. It is used for abdominal distension due to qi stagnation; rheumatic bone pain; traumatic injury; mastitis; sores, boils, swelling and infection; bleeding from knife wounds

[Usage and Dosage] For oral use: decoction, 5-10g. For external use: take appropriate amount and mash it for application.
