[Original form] The body is small, about 1 cm long, covered with fluff, with black or grayish yellow markings on the back. There is a small mouth at the end of the head; there are four pairs of ocelli located at the front end of the dorsal side of the cephalothorax, arranged in three rows of 2, 2, and 4, with the two ocelli in the first row being the largest. The cephalothorax is quadrilateral, with 6 pairs of appendages underneath. The first pair is chelate-shaped and contains poison glands; the second pair is foot barbels, like antennae, and the last segment of the male is enlarged to become a copulatory organ. The other four pairs are walking legs, which are short and thick, with two claws at the end of the tarsus. The abdomen is relatively narrow, with a genital pore and genital plate on the front abdomen. There are wart-like spindle processes at the tail end, which connect to the spindle glands that can secrete sticky fluid and spin silk.
